With the recent discussion of the evils of PowerPoint among association bloggers (Mickie, Mickie, and Dave) I thought it was interesting that Seth Godin did a post on his blog recently about how NOT to present data and charts in Powerpoint.

Great blog from Seth…now how to we get speakers(if you have to manage them as many of us do) to understand the point here?
A plethora of data – that you just have to show since you have it – is not needed in most cases.
It just muddies up the waters and takes the audience focus away from whatever the message is….
