Holy cow! Thanks for the props, Jamie. I'm really still a video n00b. Still I'm happy with the video...I think it proves that the wiki is less scary than one might think.

With just a 40 dollar web cam (with a built-in microphone) and free software, anyone can create and edit simple video. Including screencasts, credit screens, images, overdubbing, music...you name it. Recording is the easy part. Adding value for your audience is the tricky part.

And isn't it strange how over-produced video feels less valuable? Authenticity is a part of it, but I also just get annoyed when online video producers waste my time with slick graphics and music. Just get to the point, already!
